What is most important in life? What God is wanting to tell you.
Just listen.
If there is one in thing that is most important to focus on it is your relationship with God.
Talking with God is as real as talking to me, your friends, your parents, or anyone you know. The difference is that God is always with you, He is always listening, and he acts in ways that you may not understand, but having faith is all you need. Faith is the key for you to tap into the language of God to communicate with him which many times brings wisdom and guidance.
If you are anything like me, I am not the most patient person; however, I have been blessed to be in situations that are forcing me to adapt, learn and grow to be patient.
Let’s look at some examples – and keep in mind this is coming from someone who wants things immediately, and usually works a TON to get what I want – quick. I am really good at getting things done that takes a few hours, days or weeks – but give me something that takes more time and all of a sudden its tough for me to make the daily actions to get to the long-term goal without self-sabotage.
1. Relationship – I am in love with a woman in a different country, that speaks a different language who I cannot see regularly. Talk about the necessity of patience. Geez.
2. Work – I quit my job and started a company – I am almost 2 years into this from quitting my regular 9-5 and am far from where I need to be to consistently, without issue provide for a family.
These are 2 examples of really big parts of my life that are not very characteristic of me and my usually self; however, what I have been doing for the past 2 years has been talking with God and following the path he has lined out for me – yes I deviate, yes I do not always listen, but I do always return and talk to God. Thankfully he continues to show up in my life to remind me he is there, and I am blessed enough to be able to notice. Sometimes when we stop and listen we can hear Gods word clearly.
Find your relationship with God, never stop growing that, always return, and the more you put God at the center of what you do, and the more you glorify God, the more you will be aligned with what God has called upon your life – and that is all you can do.
God’s love is a beautiful thing, and I hope and pray that you choose to walk with God through life and conversate with him and allow his presence to guide you. After all, you are reading this for a reason – do you think it’s a “coincidence”? Ha. He is glad you are here – and you are where you need to be.
