September 9th – September 15th
The Big Ones
1. Run & complete Leadville 100 (24 months)
This marks the completion of the first month of training. 21 miles ran this week. Spin class, yoga, sauna, and a 3 mile RUK with 30 lb. plate. I am feeling stronger, and i can see the changes of my body now. I have been strategic with what i am eating, and tracking all calories. I ran 3 miles at a 10:00 min pace! Felt pretty good and its really hot outside still (90 degrees)! Between cryotherapy, leg compressions and getting plenty of sleep, I am feeling good. My longest run this week was 5 miles, but more frequent running and faster.
2. Raise 10 million dollars for Flash Funding Mortgage (12 Months)
We have VC, Dallas investors and some current investors we will be paying off. Not much progress, but this coming week we will work to solidify the new 5M line spoke about a few weeks ago.
3. Be at an Advanced Spanish Speaking Level. (18 Months)
One hour Spanish lesson again this week with Todd. I have some new friends to practice Spanish with. I am sticking to one hour per week classes, and still speaking with them. Over the next few weeks, i plan to find an extra dedicated hour lesson for a structured spanish class.
The Small Ones
4. Complete the Arena Disciplina Life-Mod Challenge (90 days - End Date - 11/14/24)
Today is day 31, I have so far had 11 treat days. Days to go – 59. My treat days this week were not the best - a few days I had some desserts, and alcohol. No treat days this coming week for me! I recommend you starting if you want to make a drastic change in your health and lifestyle in 90 days. If you wanted to join the Arena and participate click HERE
5. Run 5 Miles Sub 10 min (90 days - End Date - Est. 12/4/24)
3 miles at 10 min / mile pace! I did this while it was hotter and without tracking my time, i just pushed and committed to 3 miles. Felt good!
6. Hire 3 Loan Officers for Flash Funding Mortgage LTL (90 days - End Date - Est. 12/4/24)
Tomorrow meeting with 1 loan officer, sending some follow up emails to another loan officer i am looking to bring on board. I am thinking about using a recruiting platform, and expanding our long term business outside of Texas in order to grow our footprint and bring in more revenue.
7. Close a New Construction deal for Flash Funding Mortgage (90 days - End Date - Est. 12/4/24)
Sometimes there is not an update - but this is a reminder for me to go out and bring in a new construction deal! We are working on some LTNG Capital partnership projects that may turn into a new construction deal for us.
