Debtitude - Let me explain.
Being intentional, disciplined and consistent will change your life. I am fortunate to have amazing individuals in my life that I am proud to call friends who do not settle for mediocrity. Being around these individuals has inspired me to make a change in my life for the better, live to a higher standard and become someone I am proud of.
This idea of My Life of 7 Goals, was specifically inspired by a monster of a gentlemen, Todd Crosswhite.
He is someone who has had an immeasurable impact on my life. It is worth mentioning a little bit of the impact that this gentleman has had on my life (and also my attempt of expressing “debtitude” which you will learn about here). Below is a short list of accomplishments and lifechanging feats that are due to the friendship and inspiration from Todd.
1. Most importantly - My faith journey as a Christian began because of Todd.
2. I am a Spanish speaker now! (This is how I met Todd. You never know what can come from seemingly small inconsequential meetings – but that is a story for another time)
3. I moved to Costa Rica to experience a different life and study Spanish because of his recommendations and previous experiences.
4. I was able to jumpstart my lending companies because of the groups he has introduced me to, raising over 3.5 million dollars.
5. I started this website, creating intentional goals and living a better life because of his Arena Disciplina you can see bey clicking HERE
6. I was blessed with a role model of an individual who has set the example of discipline, always striving to be better, serve God and pursue his dream of elevating the lives of individuals around him.
For this and much more, I am blessed with the responsibility of bearing the honor of experiencing Debtitute. This is a word that Todd created which describes the level of impact impressed on you that is so strong that you feel “indebted” to them to work hard, work honorably and work diligently – all the time. Thank you for the hard work you put in daily to become the man you are. By living your life, you have and will continue to create ripple effects by living an honorable life and one that everyone should aspire to live. Many people do not get to see the unintended immeasurable side effects that happen when you are participating in an intentional, disciplined life. But I will ensure you see your impact! My family and I appreciate you and yours!
My journey has been a long time in the making, but this chapter in my life is the beginning of me sharing my experiences, goals and journey with my friends, family and future family. My goal is to stay consistent with my own life by passionately pursuing a better version of myself to broaden the impact and maybe inspire someone to start a journey for themselves to be more disciplined.
